What Do Basic Nursing Assistants Do?
Nursing assistants support the nursing team by ensuring patients are comfortable and safe. Working under the supervision of licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses (RNs), physicians, and other healthcare professionals, nursing assistants can be found in any setting where healthcare takes place, but especially in long-term care facilities and hospitals.
Specific duties may include:
